qeedo Stand Alone Connector

1. Use

The piping adapter set is used to attach an awning to an existing piping rail on a vehicle, camper van, caravan or motorhome. The Stand Alone Connector Set bridges the connection between the awning and the vehicle, so that the connection can be easily removed when the vehicle is needed.
In addition, the piping adapter makes it much easier to pull the piping rail in and out, as the entire tent or vehicle does not have to be moved, just the adapter piece needs to be pulled in or out.

In this version there is a 7 mm piping on one side and a 5 mm + 7 mm piping on the other side, making it possible to bridge different piping rail systems. 

2. Technical Details

• Keder profile rail (consisting of 4 parts, each 80 cm long)

3. Further information

As standard, almost all fixed piping rails on camping vehicles are equipped with a rail thickness of at least 7 mm. 

Camping awnings also usually have piping rails integrated, which offer the option of attaching awnings or sun sails with piping. Here too, 7 mm rails are usually installed.
The awning manufacturers Omnistor and Fiamma/Thule have integrated a 5 mm piping rail. This requires a correspondingly smaller piping to connect; the 5 mm piping attached to the double piping fits here.
